Salary: Up to £37,000 + Bonus
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ocean Freight Operator / Bookings Clerk to join a highly successful and growing logistics company based in Leeds. The Role

You’ll play a key role in coordinating ocean freight bookings, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently from start to finish while delivering excellent service to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing ocean freight bookings for import and export shipments
• Liaising with shipping lines, customers, and overseas agents
• Preparing and checking shipping documentation
• Monitoring shipment progress and providing updates
• Ensuring all operational processes are completed accurately and on time

• Previous experience in ocean freight or shipping/logistics operations
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
